It’s a strange tale of drama and at least a little comedy; Todd Chrisley is making it sound like there could be some violence.

And if not violence, at least something resembling tough-guy talk.

Chrisley and wife Julie have been found guilty of tax fraud. They were also guilty of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, and conspiracy to defraud the United States. The reality stars of USA Network’s Chrisley Knows Best are currently under house arrest as they await sentencing.

“The couple were brought down in part by the testimony of Mark Braddock. A 53-year-old married ex-employee who told a jury that not only did he help the couple with their scheme, but that he and Todd also had a gay affair,” the Daily Mail relayed.

And now, Todd has something to say about Braddock and others.

“People will get what’s coming to them,” he said on his podcast, before adding, “but it’s in God’s time.

Added Julie, “‘It’s not on our time. That’s where we want to push it along. We want to hurry it up because we’re hurting so badly; that we just want to see an ounce of love from someone else. We feel like we’re hemorrhaging.”

As for Braddock specifically, the Chrisleys have always accused him of lying.

“Throughout seasons of your life, I know that you feel like you are hemorrhaging to death and you can’t even see a scrape on the other person that you feel like has lied on you, or that has done wrong by you or that has cheated you,” Julie said.

Todd took some ownership on himself.

Todd did admit on the latest podcast that he sort of became a “slave to money” as the Chrisley’s store began to rise.

“I got lost when I couldn’t tell the difference between my self worth and my net worth,” he admitted. “The bigger my net worth became, the less I focused on my self worth because everything was being built around that net worth. Around stuff.

‘When the stuff starts owning you versus you owning it, and you know when I talk about that, you have all those cars that you have to maintain and houses and trips that you have to do in order to keep up with everyone around you that’s in your social network.

“You became a slave to the things that you thought were going to bring you peace.”

Julie said that things “may not end the way that we envision it to end, but it’s going to end exactly the way God intends for it.”

The Chrisleys are due back in court in early October. They intend to continue their podcast at least until then.
