This kid wanted no part of Queen Elizabeth II or The Royal Family.

The Queen and husband, Prince Philip, were introduced to little Alfie Lun, 2, and his mother, Michelle, at the unveiling of a new memorial in London, England, for those who served and died in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

As the royal couple approached, Alfie started to get restless in his mother’s arms and continued his little tantrum even after she put him on the ground. Queen Elizabeth II, who has eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, remained calm as the boy continued to throw a fit.

Like many kids, Alfie quickly recovered and was ready to hand the Queen a bouquet of flowers, which she graciously accepted.

His mother must have been mortified, but maybe someday she can look back on this moment and laugh!
