Jennifer Coolidge scored a lot more than just a paycheck for playing Stifler’s mom in American Pie.

Emmy-nominated actress Jennifer Coolidge revealed in a recent Variety interview that her role in the comedy classic ramped up her sex life.
“I got a lot of play from being a MILF, and I got a lot of sexual action from American Pie,” she said.
“There were so many benefits to doing that movie. There were, like, 200 people I never would have slept with,” she added.
Jennifer Coolidge has a long career in improvisational comedy, and she answered many of Variety’s questions jokingly. But she kept a straight face when responding to the American Pie question.
Jennifer Coolidge’s Accolades — And Her Hotdog Dilemma
Coolidge’s star is perhaps shining brighter than ever at the moment, thanks to her role in HBO’s The White Lotus. She is up for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie.
In the comedy-drama, Coolidge plays an eccentric rich woman who sleeps with a stranger while trying to spread her mother’s ashes. She also earned nominations at the Gotham Independent Film Awards, the Golden Globe Awards and the Screen Actors Guid Awards.
The Critics’ Choice Awards organizers not only nominated Coolidge for her White Lotus role — they gave her the trophy for Best Supporting Actress in a Movie/Miniseries.
“White Lotus really made it around the world, so that’s cool,” Coolidge told Variety.
Furthermore, Jennifer Coolidge said she is frequently recognized for her role in Legally Blonde and Legally Blonde 2 — more so than she would like, perhaps. In the latter film, she famously remarks, “It makes me want a hotdog real bad.”
“All day and all night, so many people [quote the line to me,]” she said. “It’s exhausting, this hotdog story. … I have to go with it and go, ‘Oh my God, you sound just like me when you say that.’”
Lastly, Coolidge said she’s heard a Legally Blonde sequel is in the works. She hasn’t seen a script for it yet, though.
“Maybe this conversation will speed it up,” she told Variety.
