Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s wedding isn’t over just yet.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez will reportedly stage a three-day “intimate celebration for family and friends.” It will start with a rehearsal dinner on Friday, followed by a wedding ceremony on Saturday, and a barbecue and picnic on Sunday, per Page Six.
“It’s going to be all about J. Lo,” Page Six said. “Ben wants all of the focus to be on her for their big day.”
TMZ reported about a month ago that the three-day event will take place on Affleck’s estate in Riceboro, Georgia. Matt Damon, Jimmy Kimmel, Casey Affleck, and Drea de Matteo — among other stars — will reportedly be in attendance.
Ben Affleck And Jennifer Lopez’s Long-In-The-Waiting Wedding
Affleck 52, and Lopez, 49, became engaged in April. That happened 18 years after they were in a relationship, then broke up.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez intended to get married on his 87-acre estate 20 years ago, according to TMZ. But they later called off their wedding plans.
“We’re older now, we’re smarter, we have more experience, we’re at different places in our lives,” Lopez told People. “We have kids now, and we have to be very conscious of those things.”
Affleck has three kids with ex-wife Jennifer Garner — Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10. Lopez has twins with former husband Marc Anthony — Emme and Max, 14.
Roughly two weeks ago, TMZ published the couple’s new marriage certificate online. It revealed that the intimate ceremony took place at the well-known Little White Wedding Chapel on the Las Vegas Strip.
The marriage certificate also indicated that Jennifer Lopez was taking Ben Affleck’s last name. She is apparently taking the name Jennifer Affleck.
