Chevy Chase and Raising Cane’s just seem like a natural fit. So it only makes sense that the two of them decided to come together for the holidays.

Chase, of course, is the legendary comedic actor from all those Christmas Vacation movies back in the 1980s. He’s done way more than that, but the Christmas Vacation series is among his works that live on.
Raising Cane’s is a fast-food establishment that specializes in chicken fingers. It tabbed Chase to recreate one of the famous scenes from the famous flick, again portraying Clark Griswold next to Raising Cane’s owner Todd Graves.
‘Christmas Vacation’ Lighting
Most of the buzz took place at one of the Raising Cane’s Chicago locations, with Chase reenacting the famous Christmas lights scene. Only this time, as far as we can tell, ol’ Clark got it right.
Per TMZ, this Cane’s location, in Morton Grove, Ill., boasts “more than 13,000 lights, a Santa Claus, reindeer and sleigh — almost as over-the-top as the display Clark juiced up in the National Lampoon holiday classic.”
The event drew a crowd of more than 500, which took part in all the holiday cheer just before Chase, er, Griswold, and Graves drove off in the infamous wood-paneled “Queen Family Truckster” station wagon.

Christmas Vacation, which came out in 1989, is now being shown at select theaters across the country as sort of a throwback to the movie’s heyday.
But if you don’t feel like watching the whole thing again in its entirety, you can get a taste of it at this particular Raising Cane’s. And hey, some chicken fingers if you so desire.
