The first season of The Terminal List made you wonder if that was it … or a teaser to a second season. For the longest time, no one really knew.

Now, however, maybe we do. And if not, series star Chris Pratt sure managed to get everyone excited, anyway.

Pratt, 43, posted a video on his Instagram account that picks up where the show left off, with character James Reeceon on a boat, looking thoughtful and determined, and presumably sailing toward Niassa.

The clip ends with him turning the boat to head in a different direction. Fans of the show want to believe he is sailing straight toward Season Two.

The Terminal List Trailer

The Terminal List is from Amazon Prime and the first season featured Pratt as Reece, a Navy SEAL who returned home to some high drama after a covert mission. After a bit of a slow start, the show takes off as an action-packed thriller with lots of storylines, receiving an IMDB rating of 8.0 (out of 10).

The mystery thriller is based on the novel by Jack Carr, a former SEAL himself. While some critics have blasted the series — for some unknown reason really — Pratt and Carr have each praised its wild success and high ratings.

“It falls right in line with everything that I understand about the current culture and climate in America right now. It seems to have triggered quite a few of these critics,” Carr said on Tucker Carlson Tonightvia Devdiscourse. “The 95 percent viewer rating, audience rating, makes it all worth it.

“We didn’t make it for the critics. We made it for those in the arena. We made it for the soldier, sailor, airman and Marine that went downrange to Iraq and Afghanistan, so they could sit on the couch and say, ‘Hey, these guys put in the work. They put in the effort to make something special and make a show that speaks to them.’ And that 95 percent rating lets me know that we at least got close.”

And now, another opportunity seems to await in a second season.
