Million Dollar Baby star Hilary Swank has announced via Instagram that she has given birth to twins. The newborns are reported to be a boy and a girl.

This past Easter Sunday, Swank shared a photo of herself holding her two babies while overlooking a beautiful sunset. The photo was captioned “It wasn’t easy. But boy (and girl!) was it worth it. 👼🏼🤍👼🏼

Many of Swank’s celebrity friends rushed to the comments section to congratulate the actress. These friends included many well-known names such as Kate Hudson, Viola Davis, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Mariska Hargitay, Debra Messing, and Katie Couric.
Basic Instinct star Sharon Stone also commented on her friend’s celebratory post, writing “God bless honey This is the most extraordinary journey ever ❣️🌹so happy for you all.” Yellowjackets actress Juliette Lewis also commented, writing, “congrats beautiful st(r)ong mama and babes ❤️.”
Swank and her husband Phillip Schneider have been very public about her pregnancy. Swank first announced that she was pregnant in 2022 on an episode of Good Morning America. She said, “This is something that I’ve been wanting for a long time and my next thing is I’m gonna be a mom. And not just of one, but of two. I can’t believe it.” Swank also opened up about her pregnancy on Live with Ryan and Kelly, stating, “I’m feeling great right now, even with the time — you know, I’m on Pacific time, so I’m a little cross-eyed with that. But I’m feeling good right now.”
