According to a source close to the family, it’s been an extremely difficult and emotional few weeks for Riley Keough and Priscilla Presley as they navigate their conflict over Lisa Marie Presley’s estate. An insider allegedly spoke to Entertainment Tonight saying that the grandmother and granddaughter are no longer speaking to each other as a result of Priscilla’s challenging her daughter’s will.

“Riley has been mourning the loss of her mother and is heartbroken to have to deal with a trust dispute with a family member,” the source stated.

“Priscilla is adamant that she has a valid case and that she will prevail in court. Riley and Priscilla aren’t communicating at this time, but have been in communication through lawyers.”

They went on to say that Keough “would prefer to settle this dispute privately,” but both are “gearing up” for a long battle in court.

Why Riley Keough and Priscilla Presley ARE NOT Speaking

“She is heartbroken that this has turned into a public matter and knows her mother would never want this,” they stated noting that the actress, 33, is “very stressed” but is “trying to keep a positive attitude.”

Priscilla, who was excluded from her late daughter’s will, is currently challenging the validity of Lisa Marie’s will by arguing that her signature on a 2016 amendment was “inconsistent.” Although some people believe that Priscilla’s actions are simply for money, the insider claims that Priscilla genuinely believes that the old documents were forged.

However, Lisa Marie’s friends are certain that she would be upset by her mother’s efforts to control her trust. Sources previously reported that the mother and daughter had quite a strained relationship prior to Lisa Marie’s passing.

“Lisa didn’t want to have anything to do with her mom,” the source alleged. “She was basically estranged from Priscilla for the last seven to eight years. They only talked when there was no option.”

Lisa Marie, who was Elvis’ only child, died at age the age of 54 on January 12 after suffering from cardiac arrest. She was laid to rest next to her son Benjamin, who died by suicide back in 2020, as well as Elvis at Graceland.

  1. Priscilla need to stay out of it! It was Lisa Marie last wish! It should go to her daughter! Her lawyer should know! Don’t drag it to court and let the lawyers eat all the money up! Money is the root of all evil!

  2. Never liked Priscilla I thought she was just after Elvis money and his fame. She should be ashamed of herself putting her granddaughter through all this. She’s after Lisa Marie’s money.
