“Riley wants to keep the family together and keep Lisa Marie’s legacy in a positive light, but she feels that her grandmother’s actions are pushing the family apart even more,” the source stated. “It’s upsetting to her as she does want to have a relationship with Priscilla, but at this point in time they are not close.”

The Source went on to say that Lisa Marie “did not have a healthy or close relationship” with Priscilla prior to her death, saying that things were “very complicated”  between them. “Lisa Marie was struggling, and it definitely put a strain on her relationship with her mother,” the source revealed. “Lisa Marie always felt Priscilla was trying to have control over her.”

Riley Keough ‘Disappointed’ by Priscilla Presley’s Challenge to Lisa Marie’s Trust

The Source revealed that Lisa Marie “always meant for her children to inherit her Trust.” “Lisa always wanted Riley and Benjamin to be the beneficiaries of the trust and that was no secret,” the source stated that her “children meant the world to her, and she would do anything for them.” Benjamin died in July 2020 by suicide.

Following the death of Lisa Marie on January 12th, her representative had confirmed that Graceland, which is a former home of her father Elvis Presley, would go to her three daughters, 33-year-old Riley, and 14-year-old twins Finley and Harper.

It was revealed that Riley and Benjamin were named co-trustees of her Trust in 2016. However, Priscilla is now contesting the validity and authenticity of Riley’s appointment, claiming that “there are many issues surrounding it.”

Joel Weinshanker, a managing partner at Elvis Presley enterprises, decided to speak out in favor of Riley maintaining her trusty role in the wake of her mother’s death. “When Elvis passed away, he left everything to his little girl. He did so knowing that she would be the one to keep his legacy going,” he said on SiriusXM’s Elvis Radio. “I can tell you that [Lisa Marie] has, without falter, no matter what else was happening in her life, in her career, always been the one to look at what was best for Elvis… regardless of what somebody else was trying to do, regardless of what another family member [was trying to] do.”

“We just want to think about what Lisa would’ve wanted and that’s what’s best for Elvis. She never had a doubt in her mind that that’s Riley,” Joel stated. “There’s no question on anyone’s mind [because] Lisa had spoken [about] it, there’s numerous amounts of written information, she had talked to so many of her friends about it. There was never a question, and anybody who’s speaking differently isn’t looking out for Elvis, isn’t looking out for Lisa, certainly isn’t looking out for Riley.”

  1. well Priscilla made Graceland what it was, a money making machine
she very save financially. Graceland was huge when Lisa inherited it bc of the decision made by her mother. Graceland was nearly broke By Lisa Marie at the time of her death so it seems only right Priscilla should be in charge one again and show these young girls how to keep it successful, bottom line

  2. Priscilla made that business what it is today! I don’t think she supported all Lisa’s squandering with the drug use, crazy marriages, selling off 85 acres, being in credit card debt, owing the IRS, paying $23,000 a month on a rental house, a leased mazarratti & the crap going on with the grandson’s suicide, the twins being financial pawns with Lockwood. What grandmother would step aside to watch all that, then Lisa died of a cocktail drug mix, then a will is altered? You can tell, Priscilla was pushed out to let all the freaks & weirdos take advantage of the finances. I say, you go Priscilla & do what needs to be done to ensure the IRS & Lockwood doesn’t get it all. He’s been fighting Lisa forever & he’s a rotten nasty man with Ill intentions, which Riley has no clue how to fight him off. Go Priscilla, get in there, you have nothing to lose except the debts Lisa Marie owes that were left behind against the Estate.

  3. I agree Priscilla was the one that save Lisa from loosing it in the first place so she should have some say in the matter you would think Lisa’s daughter be wanting the same thing to stay the same and welcome her grandmother’s help unless she’s going to try and sell it

    • She has ridden the Presley coat tails long enough and has had a damn good life because of it but she is greedy and it’s time to step out if the way and let the kids have control of things! She is all about herself. Elvis would want everything to pass to his granddaughters! Move on Priscilla! You don’t need anymore Botox and facelifts

      • I agree, Priscilla lived on $900,000 of Lisa’s money a year. Who wouldn’t want to keep handling the estate. I heard the interview with Lisa a couple a different times when she said Graceland would got to her children when she passed. So that is how it should be. Lisa Marie’s children. Not the ex husband Lockwood or even Danny
