A few years ago, the legendary actor got arrested during climate change protests in Washington, D.C., that one of her “important” friends, Jane Fonda, staged on a weekly basis.

The Hollywood Reporter covered the demonstration, reporting that police officers took away Field with her hands zip-tied during Fonda’s Fire Drill Fridays.

The Hollywood Reporter also noted that Ted Danson, Diane Liane, Sam Waterston, and other actors participated in Jane Fonda’s climate change protests.

Field Still Flying as High

Sally Field recently guested on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where she talked about her arrest among other topics.

The famous actor, 76, is currently starring in Spoiler Alert.

Field — who won the Kennedy Center Honor in 2019 — told Colbert that she doesn’t stop to reflect much on her career.

“Someday I will, maybe, when I’m on the porch, drooling in a cup,” she joked. But that’s not stopping the rest of us for taking pause that the legendary actor already has one of the most impressive resumes in Hollywood and continues to build on it.

Field will be back on the big screen early next year with a co-starring role in 80 for Brady, which will also feature her alongside Fonda, as well as other colleagues Lily Tomlin and Rita Moreno.

Revolving around football superstar Tom Brady, the comedy 80 for Brady is due for theatrical release on February 3.
