Now, the stars of USA Network’s Chrisley Knows Best say they are turning to their faith to help them get through the difficult stretch that awaits.

“Everyone knows that we are living through a nightmare,” Julie said at the start of the latest Chrisley Confessions podcast, via Entertainment Tonight.

She added that she intends to lean on God, though she remains a little nervous about the future.

“I know in my heart that I am a Christian, I know I believe that God can work miracles … but I still have this fear,” she said.

Meanwhile, Todd indicated that he did not handle fame well.

“Here we were living a very nice life. But it wasn’t a life that I wanted to continue once we got into it. I didn’t like that people were knocking on our doors at night and chasing us down the interstate to try to get our pictures ’cause they see us in the car,” Todd said. “You know the issues that I have with that and the anxiety I have over that.”

That said, Julie claims the couple’s recent trials and tribulations have only brought them closer together.

“When people go through traumatic events, a lot of times they don’t make it,” she said. “A lot of times the relationship falls apart because everything is stressful, there’s way added pressures and people don’t make it — I’m grateful that our relationship has grown instead of falling apart.”

These comments follow a statement released by the family through their attorneys, citing what turned out to be a “difficult day” of sentencing.

“But Todd and Julie are people of faith, and that faith gives them strength as they appeal their convictions,” the statement read. “Their trial was marred by serious and repeated errors, including the government lying to jurors about what taxes the couple paid. Based on these issues, we are optimistic about the road ahead.”

Following the verdict, Chrisley Knows Best and its spinoffs have all been canceled, as Deadline first reported and we relayed here.

That said, some episodes of Chrisley Knows Best have yet to air, as USA re-upped the program for a 10th season. Any episode that has already been filmed will indeed air, Deadline added. Those are set for 2023.
