Bride Wars is a 2009 comedy film starring Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson. The film follows two best friends, Emma (Hathaway) and Liv (Hudson), who have been planning their dream weddings since childhood. But when their weddings are accidentally scheduled for the same day, the two are forced to compete for the perfect wedding. Chris Pratt plays the role of Fletcher, an accountant, and Emma’s fiance. The film follows the two brides-to-be as they go to hilarious lengths to sabotage each other in order to have the perfect wedding.
Moneyball (2011)
Moneyball, released in 2011, starred Brad Pitt, Robin Wright, and Jonah Hill. Chris Pratt played the role of Scott Hatteberg, a former catcher who was recruited by the Oakland Athletics. The film follows the team’s general manager, Billy Beane (played by Brad Pitt), who assembles a winning team on a very low budget. The film is based on a true story and follows Beane and the A’s as they use a computer-based system to analyze players and acquire undervalued players to create a winning team.
The Magnificent Seven (2016)
The Magnificent Seven is a 2016 Western action film starring Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, and Ethan Hawke. The film follows seven gunfighters who are hired by a desperate town to protect them from a ruthless industrialist. Chris Pratt plays the role of Josh Faraday, a gambler and gunslinger with a mysterious past. The Magnificent Seven is a modern remake of the 1960 classic of the same name.
