And just in case you forgot, one fan of the New York Yankees showed how much you can do with a hot dog. Not surprisingly, the lesson also involved a beer.
Basically, a man used a straw to poke both ends of a hot dog into a … well, a different straw. All so he could drink his beer with the straw. Or actually, so he could drink with a hot dog.
Thankfully, New York social media specialist Nicolas Heller (@NewYorkNico) captured the whole thing on video. Needless to say, it has gone viral.

Perhaps the best thing about all this is the individual who came up with the invention wore a look of seriousness, even expertise. It appeared very much as if this wasn’t his first rodeo with a hot dog straw. On the contrary, he seemed like an old pro.
He clearly wasn’t doing it for laughs, or even to entertain. It’s just what he does.
And who are we to say he’s not on to something kind of cool?
Safe to say we aren’t the only ones who are taken aback by this man’s eating habits. Twitter is having a ball with the video with one user tweeting, “Drinking beer through a straw could get you in trouble at a Yankees game. But drinking beer through a hot dog could get you famous! Well done sir.” People are also wondering whether he drank the whole beer and ate the beer-soaking hot dog.
