Luna Alves, a Brazilian singer, is dead, passing away in bed, shocking her fans and leaving behind a devastated husband.

At the age of only 39, Luna Alves was full of energy and had no apparent underlying health issues. She was regularly performing and showed no signs of fatigue or sickness. However, just after her performance, she died at her home in Cuiabá, Mato Grosso.
The singer had performed only the night before she was declared dead, putting on a lively performance. After her show, she had even livestreamed a “thank you” to her fans from her bed. There were no signs of ill health at the time.
“I’m home, I’m going to sleep. But first, of course, I want to thank God immensely, from the bottom of my heart, for the gift of life, for the gift of my voice,” she said via Instagram, “I am truly grateful. Only Him, only Him and I, deep within. And the people who work with me, and the contractors, friends, partners, the people who like my work.”
But, when her husband woke next to his wife the next morning, he noticed something was wrong. He called paramedics, but it was already too late. The singer was pronounced dead in her home, only hours after her final performance.
Unexpected End To Brazilian Singer’s Life
Nobody could have predicted that singer Luna Alves would be dead the morning after such a lively show. She showed no signs that she was sick. Her cause of death has initially been attributed to a heart attack.
Her husband of three years recalled how his wife passed away in front of him. “I went to bed at 1:40 a.m., and she was doing great. We started watching videos and then went to sleep,” he told G1. “Around 5:10 a.m., I heard her feeling unwell in bed and got up to call emergency services. The doctor stayed on the line with me, helping me. Emergency services didn’t stay long, but unfortunately, they pronounced her dead.”
With seemingly no warning signs, the singer was dead hours after her performance. She was only 39 years old.
