In the summer of 2016, during his Independence Day remarks, that love was on full display when President Obama serenaded his oldest daughter, Malia, with “Happy Birthday” on her 18th birthday, which also happens to be on July 4. Although Malia may have been slightly embarrassed by his show of affection, you can tell that she loves her dad, and their bond is undeniable.
