Better Call Saul Canadian actor Michael Mando, who also appeared in Orphan Black, has reportedly been fired from the Apple TV+ show Sinking Spring. Sources state that Mando had a “clash with a co-star” or an “on-set incident,” resulting in his dismissal from the Ridley Scott-produced series. Despite attempts to resolve the issue, producers decided to terminate Mando’s contract and recast the role, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Warner Moura, who starred in Shining Girls and played Pablo Escobar in Narcos, has been cast as Mando’s replacement.

Based on Dennis Tafoya’s book “Dope Thief,” Sinking Spring revolves around a group of small-time crooks who pretend to be DEA agents in order to rob a house in the rural area, unaware that their heist targets the biggest narcotics passageway on the Eastern seaboard.
