“It’s not the last season,” Hauser, 47, told People.

In fact, Hauser revealed that co-creator Taylor Sheridan couldn’t attend the Yellowstone premiere in New York City because Sheridan was too busy working on the Season 6 script.

It is Sheridan, in fact, who not only helped bring the world Yellowstone, but helped the actors learn how to be cowboys.

“He’s taught me disciplines in cutting and roping and reining,” Cole Hauser said, via People. “It’s been more of the same every year we go to, basically a cowboy boot camp. And so he’s very certain that he wants to make sure that all of us can do what we did. This year, which is really cool, is that a lot of the actors are doing a lot of their own stunts.”

And one such stunt would be the actors admitting that this won’t be Yellowstone‘s final rodeo.

The new season kicks off November 13 on Paramount +. It currently stars Kevin Costner, Wes Bentley, Luke Grimes, Gil Birmingham, and Kelly Reilly. The series follows the Duttons, who own the largest ranch in Montana, the Yellowstone Dutton ranch.
