‘Days of Our Lives’ Actor Cody Longo Dies at 34

Actor Cody Longo of “Days of Our Lives” has passed away at the age of 34, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter and TMZ.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Longo’s representative, Alex Gittelson, stated that he died in his sleep in Austin, Texas. His body was discovered on Wednesday.

“Cody was our whole world,” his wife, Stephanie Clark stated according to THR. “The kids and I are shattered and beyond devastated. He was the best dad and best father. We will always and forever miss you and love you.”

Gittelson went on to add a few words about the actor’s death. “My heart breaks for his beautiful family,” he stated. “He had taken some time away from acting to pursue music and spend more time with his family in Nashville, but we had kept in touch regularly and he was excited to get back into acting this year.”

“Cody was such a loyal, loving and talented person and he will be greatly missed,” he continued.

Longo was born on March 4, 1988, in Littleton, Colorado In 2008, he broke out into the industry when he appeared in the film “Ball Don’t Lie.” In 2009 he went on to appear on the television show Medium and in the film Bring It On: Fight to the Finish. That same year he starred in a recurring role as Nicky Russio in the gymnastics TV Show Make It Or Break It before getting his most coveted role as Nicholas Alamain in Days of Our Lives.

“She Said”

Some of his other acting credits include Nashville, Secrets and Lies, and CSI: NY. In addition to his acting career, Longo was also active in the music industry, with his most well-known song being “She Said,” released in 2013.

According to Variety, Longo was arrested for domestic assault back in 2020, later pleading guilty to a misdemeanor assault charge after being accused of sexually assaulting a 9-year-old girl in the following year.
