Congratulations to actress Kaley Cuoco, who just gave birth to her first child! She and partner Tom Pelphrey welcomed Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey on Thursday, March 30.

Although the former Big Bang Theory star and the Ozark actor have only been parents for a few days, People tells us that they’re already “pretty obsessed with their baby girl.”
Cuoco shared the news via an adorable Instagram post featuring photos of the newborn, captioned: “Introducing, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, the new light of our lives! We are overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle.”

Before having kids, Kaley Cuoco, 37, was married to Ryan Sweeting from 2013 – 2016 and Karl Cook from 2018 – 2022. She met her current partner, Tom Pelphrey, only a year ago. In an interview with USA Today, the the actress revealed that she was introduced to Pelphrey through her manager, who also happened to be his. According to her, it was “love at first sight.”
It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Kaley Cuoco, 37, has taken to her new role as a mother. According to Us Weekly, the Flight Attendant actress has been wanting kids for a long time! She told E! News in 2014 that she was “born to be a mom.” She also stated that she was excited to raise her kids alongside her numerous pets, so that they could learn to care for other creatures from a young age.
Clearly, Cuoco has a lot of nurturing energy to give. Long before becoming a mom, the Meet Cute star already had a four-legged family of dogs and horses! Us Weekly tells us that baby Matilda wasn’t the only addition to the household in 2023. Earlier this year, the actress also welcomed a rescue dog named Opal into her home.
