Oh man, talk about a steamy time. Kelly Ripa is proving to the world that her sex life is MORE than okay. Ripa has been known to talk about her marriage and sex life quite often, but defiantly not like this.

The Live With Kelly and Ryan is coming out with a new book, Live Wire, where she revealed she once passed out during sex with Marck Consuelos back in 1997. Oh, but not because of what you think, it was because of a large cyst on her ovaries. The incident occurred six months after she had her son, Michael.
When she then regained consciousness, she was in the emergency room. “My eyes shift between the fuzzy images on the screen, the remnants of my ovarian tormentor, and Mark happily snacking away,” she wrote.

“Sex can be so traumatic I think, and yet one of us is completely undaunted. There he is, happily munching on the saltines now and ordering a second apple juice,” she noted. “Mark could be at a movie, or a spa. Instead, I’m flat on my back wondering when the other two cysts will burst.”
She went on to recount that Consuelos had dressed her while unconscious wearing a French-cut leotard and red Manolo Blahniks before taking her to the hospital.
“Here is my husband, who is, dare I say, stylish, well-dressed at all times, and yet he dressed me like a dime store prostitute in my time of need,” Ripa stated. “It’s still baffling to me to this day that this is the best costume for the day that he could find for me, to the point where, when I was on the stretcher, I thought I was dreaming; I was having a nightmare. I didn’t realize I had come.”
Ripa and Consuelos’ marriage clearly is going strong, with earlier this year marking their 26th marriage anniversary. The two have three children, Joaquin Antonio, Lola and Michael Joseph Consuelos.
