This sweet, sister bonding moment was captured on camera for ‘Til Death Do Us Part: Kourtney and Travis, a brand new Hulu special about the eldest Kardashian’s wedding ceremonies to Travis Barker. All three of them.
The 72-minute program gives viewers a peek behind the scenes in Las Vegas, Santa Barbara, and, of course, at Dolce & Gabbana’s L’Ulivetta villa.
Kim’s Advice to Kourtney at Her Portofino Wedding
Before Kourtney took her first steps toward the altar in Italy, Kim gave her some guidance based on her own experience getting married to Kanye West in Florence in 2014.
“The one piece of advice that I’ll give you is when I was walking down the aisle in Italy and I had the long train, I was so nervous that it was going to come off that I walked so fast,” said Kim, according to Entertainment Tonight. “Walk slow, take it in, this only happens once.”
Unlike Kim, who wore a cheeky, back-baring gown with a trailing train, Kourtney said “I do” in a custom mini dress from Dolce & Gabbana. However, Kourtney still had to contend with the length of her veil. The flowing headpiece reportedly got caught in the bushes during the celebrity’s entrance.
“Did you realize that I was getting stuck?” Kourtney asked her groom after the ceremony. He replied, “No, I was in the zone.”
According to CNN, this wasn’t the only hiccup that occurred during the three-wedding affair. In Las Vegas, the presiding Elvis impersonator accidentally called Kourtney by her sister Khloé‘s name.
The wedding ceremonies, performed in 2022, marked the 43-year-old reality star’s first marriage. Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, now Kardashian’s husband, had been married twice before to Melissa Kennedy and Shanna Moakler.
Interestingly, Barker claimed that the planning for the lavish nuptials wasn’t all that intense.
“We just wanted to get married, we didn’t really care about the details,” he said.
