Hulu’s new ‘Til Death Do Us Part special reveals that a tender moment occurred between mother and daughter the night before Kourtney’s luxurious Portofino ceremony. Jenner passed down the wedding band that had been given to her in 1978 by her late husband and Kourtney’s father, Robert Kardashian.
This gift meant the world to Kourtney because it allowed her to feel more connected to her dad on her wedding day.
“When my dad died, I remember thinking, like, ‘I never wanna get married because my dad isn’t there to walk me down the aisle,’ so that gift meant so much,” she said on the show, according to Page Six.

Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian have found many ways to honor the reality star’s dad throughout their engagement and wedding. In 2021, the Blink-182 drummer brought Kris Jenner to tears by asking for her daughter’s hand and revealing that he’d already been to visit her ex-husband’s grave.
“I just lost it,” Kris recalled.
People tells us that remembering her dad helped Kourtney calm down before walking down the aisle.
“My dad would’ve loved Travis and Travis reminds me so much of my dad in the weirdest ways… ” said the celebrity bride during the special, “I felt his presence and a sense of calm. It felt so good and calm… like, I’m ready and it just felt perfect.”
Although her sisters have been married multiple times, the reality star’s marriage to Travis Barker is her first. She more than made up for the wait, though, with three ceremonies: one in Las Vegas, one in Santa Barbara, and one in Italy.
This is the Blink-182 drummer’s third marriage.
