Lockwood was appointed as the sole guardian ad litem to both the girls with no apparent opposition to the arrangement. According to ET, Priscilla Presley nor Riley Keough were in attendance for the hearing.
The new legal move comes amid other legal battles that are surrounding Lisa Marie’s estate. Back in February, two weeks after Lisa Marie’s death, Priscilla went on to file paperwork out of nowhere that challenges a 2016 amendment to her daughter’s will. The will reportedly removed Priscilla, as well Lisa Marie’s former business manager, Barry Siegel, as co-trustees. The will instead named Riley and her younger brother, Benjamin Keough as the new co-trustees. Benjamin tragically died by suicide in 2020, making Riley the sole heir.

Throughout 2022, Riley and Priscilla were seen together in various public appearances to promote the Elvis biopic, but it was reported that their relationship had derailed due to the ongoing legal dispute. However, Priscilla recently denied any reports of strained relations with Riley.
A hearing to address matters related to Lisa Marie’s estate has been scheduled for May 16th.
“Riley has been mourning the loss of her mother and is heartbroken to have to deal with a trust dispute with a family member,” a source reportedly told ET back in February. “She is heartbroken that this has turned into a public matter and knows her mother would never want this.”
