Where did these false dating allegations come from? According to Page Six, it all started with an anonymous tip-off to a gossip account on Instagram. Once the rumors started circulating, fans of the Big Little Lies actress and the retired athlete became very supportive of the pairing over social media.
Another factor that lent credence to the tall tale was the fact that both celebrities are recently divorced. Reese Witherspoon and husband Jim Toth came to the mutual agreement to split up earlier this year. They officially announced their decision through social media on March 24. Tom Brady had also parted ways with model Gisele Bündchen last October.
According to Us Weekly, representatives for both Witherspoon and Brady have put an end to speculations about their relationship, confirming that the two single celebrities are not dating.
Reese Witherspoon Is Not Dating Tom Brady
Now that’s been cleared up, another, perhaps bigger, question remains. If Tom Brady and Reese Witherspoon aren’t dating each other, who are they dating?
As far as we know, the Legally Blonde actress doesn’t appear to be seeing anyone new at the moment. However, The Hollywood Reporter tells us that Witherspoon is extremely proud of her production company, Hello Sunshine, which recently adapted Taylor Jenkins Reid’s popular novel Daisy Jones and the Six into a series on Amazon Prime.
As for Tom Brady, he’s definitely looking for love, but not among the rich and famous. Marca tells us that the former NFL athlete is searching for “a regular girl” and that he “doesn’t want to be burned by another supermodel.” This would probably rule out the Your Place or Mine star as a contender, but you never know!
