Riley Keough appeared on the red carpet for the first time since her mother Lisa Marie Presley passed at 54. Along with her husband Ben Smith-Petersen, she attended the Los Angeles premiere of her new mini-series “Daisy Jones & the Six.” Keough wore a dashing plunging black dress with a sparkling bottom and paired it with stunning green and gold earrings.

A synopsis for Keough’s show reads, “In 1977, Daisy Jones & The Six were on top of the world; the band had risen from obscurity to fame, and then, after a sold-out show at Chicago’s Soldier Field, they called it quits; now, decades later, the band members agree to reveal the truth.”
Keough portrays Daisy Jones in “Daisy Jones & the Six,” alongside Sam Claflin’s Billy Dunne. Despite being the granddaughter of rock icons Elvis and Priscilla Presley and the daughter of musicians Lisa Marie and Danny Keough, she shared with Entertainment Tonight that she had to put in a lot of effort to tap into her own musical talent.
“It’s pretty amazing. I think we really came from not being able to play anything on a guitar or sing really, to having a full record going out which is like it’s crazy to us I think,” she stated. “We had months of jam sessions, so we had months of rehearsals, so we were basically in band practice for, I don’t know, a year.”
The actress’ outing comes after according to a source close to the family, it’s been an extremely difficult and emotional few weeks for Riley Keough and Priscilla Presley as they navigate their conflict over Lisa Marie Presley’s estate. An insider allegedly spoke to Entertainment Tonight saying that the grandmother and granddaughter are no longer speaking to each other as a result of Priscilla’s challenging her daughter’s will.
“Riley has been mourning the loss of her mother and is heartbroken to have to deal with a trust dispute with a family member,” the source stated.
“Priscilla is adamant that she has a valid case and that she will prevail in court. Riley and Priscilla aren’t communicating at this time, but have been in communication through lawyers.”
They went on to say that Keough “would prefer to settle this dispute privately,” but both are “gearing up” for a long battle in court.
