Sharon Stone Looked HOT on ‘SNL’ in Slit Dress

Sharon Stone made a surprise appearance during Sam Smith’s performance of “Gloria” on Saturday Night Live hosted by Aubrey Plaza. The appearance was a nod to Stone’s role in the 1999 film Gloria, which was a remake of the 1988 film of the same name.

Other guest appearances included Amy Poehler, Joe Biden, the Property Brothers, Tony Hawk, and Allison Williams. But it was Stone’s performance that captivated social media’s heart. Midway through the episode, Stone appeared lounging on what seems to be a golden bed in front of Smith and performed the song. At the end of the song, the actor then sits up and dramatically stares at the camera.

Smith had explained the meaning behind the title of the song and album during an appearance on BBC’s Two’s Michelle Visage’s Rule Breakers. “There’s a fighter voice in all of us, and you’ve just got to look after that,” they stated. “My album ‘Gloria,’ I’ve called it Gloria because I’ve called that voice inside me Gloria, it’s like a voice in my head that just says, ‘You can do it.’ And kids have just got to access that voice and feed it.”

In addition to her playing a role in Smith’s performance, Stone also decided to appear in a noir sketch with Plaza where they played a mother and a daughter fighting over a much older man. Meanwhile, for their first performance, Smith performed his popular viral song “Unholy” with Kim Petras,  who surprised a crowd by emergency beneath their pink dress.

The song received a nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 65th annual Grammy awards, which was Smith’s first nomination since 2015. it was also nominated for the Brit award for song of the year at the 2023 Brit Awards. It is the second single from Smith’s upcoming album, Gloria.
