Willie Nelson is celebrating his 90th birthday with a bang. The singer is celebrating with two-night concerts at the Hollywood Bowl on April 29th and 30th with several A-list singers. The birthday celebration will feature appearances from the chicks, Neil Young, Kasey Musgraves, Snoop Dogg, Leon Bridges, Chris Stapleton, Miranda Lambert, Sheryl Crow, and more.

“I can’t think of a better way to spend my 90th birthday than being surrounded by family, friends and of course the fans who made this all possible. It’s an honor to perform with such an incredible group of artists at such an iconic venue,” the singer stated.
Long Story Short
Additional artists are set to be announced in the coming weeks. Two-day packages for the general public are set to go on sale on Saturday, January 28th at 10:00 a.m. All eligible MasterCard and Capital One Visa credit and debit cardholders will have access to exclusive presale tickets before the general public. The sale will begin Wednesday, January 25th at 10:00 a.m.
The news comes after Nelson announced that he is set to release his 98th career Studio album, I Don’t Know A Thing About Love, on March 3rd. The album is set to consist of 10 classic songs written by the legendary American songwriter Harlan Howard.
“Busted”
For the lead single, Nelson released “Busted,” which was initially a song for Johnny Cash with the Carter family back in 1963, when it peaked at No. 13 on the country chart. It later became a hit for Ray Charles, peaking at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. Nelson and Ray later recorded a live version of it for their 2005 album, Genius & Friends.
Nelson is currently up for four Grammy Awards this year, safe to say he’s doing just fine.
