Reese Witherspoon on Wednesday shared first glimpses from the set of Season 3 of The Morning Show via her Instagram account.
“We are backkkkkkkk! 🎬 ✨ @TheMorningShow Season 3!” she captioned, alongside a selfie video in which she pans across the set.
The backdrop of The Morning Show is visible in the background, indicating Witherspoon is about to shooting or about to start doing so. Co-star Jennifer Aniston recently told New York that Season 3 would start shooting in September.
A handful of Reese Witherspoon’s friends commented on her Wednesday post on Instagram, leaving words of excitement and encouragement.
“U so pretty!!” Julianne Moore wrote.
Fashion illustrator Meagan Morrison added: “You look absolutely stunning!!!” followed by three heart-eyed smiley-face emojis.
“Hoooorayyyyy” chimed in Candace Nelson, author of Sweet Success: A Simple Recipe to Turn Your Passion Into Profit.
The Morning Show: Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston Poised For A Bright Future
The Morning Show brought good news to fans of Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon when it debuted on Apple+ in November 2019. Inspired by the book Top of the Morning: Inside the Cutthroat World of Morning TV, its second season premiered in September 2021.
Apple+ announced in January of this year that it had greenlit The Morning Show for a third season after it became a smash hit.
Reese Witherspoon recently earned an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. Meanwhile, Billy Crudup picked up a nod for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for the same show.
As we recently reported, the rumor mill is saying Aniston is ignoring pals Reese Witherspoon and former Friends co-star Courtney Cox. The reason? Supposedly because Aniston is trying to stay in shape and look her best at the age of 53.
Whether or not it’s true, Aniston and Witherspoon will be back together again for Season 3 of The Morning Show.
