The Best Dressed of the 2023 Grammys

Lizzo

As always, Lizzo was luminous on the red carpet. Within this larger-than-life look by Dolce & Gabbana, she showcased two looks: an orange corseted dress (see below) beneath a memorable rose-detailed cloak. The textured flowers appeared blooming.

Doja Cat

In slick black Versace, Doja Cat embodied the Matrix style that’s defined the past year of fashion. Here, however, the trend was elevated on a grand scale, the sweeping train of Doja Cat’s gown pooling on the red carpet behind her like a sexy black puddle… The cool choice paired perfectly with Doja’s pixie hair and dramatic makeup.

Mick Fleetwood

Mick Fleetwood took part in one of the night’s most emotional moments: an ons-stage tribute to his former bandmate. and lifelong friend, Christine McVie. But before that performance, Fleetwood hit the red carpet in a surprising pin-stripe look. It was a bold choice for the 75-year-old — but he pulled it off! From the chains to the fedora, Fleetwood was dripping mobster swag.

The “Unholy” Entourage

Kim Petras and Sam Smith are iconic duo. Their catchy song “Unholy” topped the charts in 2022 and their live performances are spectacle to behold. Recently, on SNL, Sam Smith performed the track, slowly revealing Petras hidden inside their skirt. And the theatrics continued at the 2023 Grammys. Petras and Smith hit the red carpet accompanied by a good-looking celeb squad, dressed wickedly in red.

And that was just a warm-up. When Petras and Smith performed “Unholy” on the Grammy stage, they took the title literally as Smith donned fiery red devil horns beside a cage-dancing Petras. The song also took home the award for Best Pop Duo — making Petras the first-ever transgender woman to win a Grammy.

Beyoncé

It was a big night for Beyoncé as she the record for most Grammy wins by a single artist. But the singer was late to the show! She missed the red carpet, sadly, which would have been a major fashion moment. But Bey’s impressive gown by Gucci still got its due as she took home four awards for her recent album Renaissance. With its strong silhouette and chrome detailing, the dress was an appropriately shining statement for a Grammy goddess.
