Entertainment Weekly filled us in Wednesday, reporting that Hillary Clinton, Reese Witherspoon, and other luminaries will drop by the show.

The long-running talk show’s new season is scheduled start with a bang on Tuesday. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her daughter, Chelsea Clinton, will be on the show to discuss Gutsy. Their eight-part Apple TV+ docuseries follows the Clintons as they converse with Dr. Jane Goodall, Amy Schumer, Goldie Hawn and other women who inspire them.

Meanwhile, The View will feature a broader range of guests for its new season. They range from Tyler Perry to Kevin Smith to former View panelist Star Jones. Other big names include Regina Hall, Huma Abedin, Billy Eichner, Neil deGrasse Tyson, LeAnn Rimes, and Viola Davis, according to EW.

A Closer Look At Season 26 Of The View

As for the daytime talk show’s mainstays, Whoopi Goldberg — who is practically synonymous with The View at this point — will serve as moderator. The panelists will be Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, and Alyssa Farah Griffin.

Griffin — a former Trump White House staffer — joined after Meghan McCain decided to exit the show. The announcement of Griffin as a panelist immediately stirred up controversy, especially among devoted watchers of The View.

On the other hand, Navarro first guest co-hosted on The View in 2013 and became a regular starting in 2018. The political strategist and commentator has also appeared on ABC News, CNN en Espanol, CNN, and Telemundo.

Less than a week ago, Goldberg spoke hyperbolically about the show — which didn’t seem to surprise anyone, given her outspoken personality.

Goldberg called her co-hosts “the gutsiest women on TV“ in an exclusive preview for the upcoming season.
