You can never be too sure, but it sounds like Jennifer Lopez may take a break from performing. Or, excuse us, Jennifer Affleck.
But no matter what you’re calling J.Lo these days, it seems as if she’s dropping some hints that she is ready to be Ben Affleck’s wife and a mom … and little more when it comes to entertainment.
“It’s super important for me, especially now, to prioritize my personal life and not just my work life. When I had kids 14 years ago was when I started thinking differently,” she wrote in her latest newsletter, via Entertainment Tonight. “Things changed for me. Little by little, my perspective has turned into a healthier work-life balance.”
OK, maybe everyone is needlessly freaking out. Perhaps she is just talking about balance. But she also seems to be focusing on making sure her priorities are in order, with family life at the top of the list.
“Now that I’m getting married, it’s about my family first and foremost,” she added. “It’s about having enough time to be the woman, the mother, the partner and the person that I need to be for the important people in my life. It must be a very special project if it’s going to take time away from my family.”
Quite a change for Mrs. Affleck
Lopez and Affleck tied the knot at what was described as a small ceremony back in July.
“We’re older now, we’re smarter, we have more experience, we’re at different places in our lives, we have kids now, and we have to be very conscious of those things,” Lopez told PEOPLE in February.
“It’s a beautiful outcome that this has happened in this way. At this time in our lives, where we can really appreciate and celebrate each other and respect each other.
“We have been in the game in the public eye long enough to know who we are as people; and what really matters and what doesn’t matter. We have kids and we respect each other.
If you want to check out the wedding certificate to make sure it is all legal, we got that too.
