Chris Stapleton To Sing National Anthem At The Super Bowl LVII

Country music star Chris Stapleton is set to sing the National Anthem at this year’s Super Bowl, with R&B Legend Babyface performing “America the Beautiful.”

Both performances are set to take place on February 12th at State Farm Stadium in Glendale Arizona. This before the championship matchup and the highly anticipated halftime show which will feature Rihanna. The performance is set to air on Fox.

Actor and singer Sheryl Lee Ralph, who won an Emmy last year, is also set to perform “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” Ralph currently stars in the Emmy-winning comedy series Abbott Elementary,  created by Quinta Brunson.

Oscar winner Troy Kotsur will perform the national anthem in American Sign Language as well. He is the second deaf actor to win an Academy Award for his role in the popular film, CODA. Justina Miles will sign “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” and Colin Denny will sign “America the Beautiful.”

The US Navy’s flyover of State Farm stadium is set to commemorate 50 years of women flying in the service.

Stapleton, who’s an eight-time Grammy winner, is considered one of the most respected and beloved Country musicians. Last year the singer took home three Grammys and was honored with a Country Music Association Award for Male Vocalist of the Year back in 2021. He has also been a recipient of 10 Academy of Country Music Awards, 14 Country Music Association awards, and was named ACM’s artist songwriter of The decade.

The country singer has a lot of credits writing and co-writing with over 170 songs.  He has appeared on several artists’ albums including Kelly Clarkson, Taylor Swift, Adele, Brad Paisley, and Dierks Bentley.
