Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren have garnered tons of praise for their work in Taylor Sheridan’s 1923, the prequel to Yellowstone available on Paramount+.
But none of that praise may be as high as the accolades Ford reserved for his co-star during an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

“She’s still sexy,” Ford, 80, said of the 77-year-old Mirren, agreeing with a take from Colbert.
The series on the early days of the Dutton ranch has been on a brief hiatus but returns on February 5 for the concluding episodes. It was been every bit as big of a hit for audiences as Yellowstone and 1883, the other prequel starring Tim McGraw and real-life wife Faith Hill.
Ford and Mirren are only married on the show, but again, he very clearly thinks highly of her ability.
Harrison Ford Praises 77-Year-Old Co-Star Helen Mirren
“It’s been remarkable to watch her,” Ford told Colbert. “There’s a lot of physical action, and she just jumps right in and does stuff you don’t imagine Helen Mirren would do. Dame Helen Mirren.”
This actually marks the second time Ford and Mirren have worked together — though the last was nearly 40 years ago, back in the 1986 film The Mosquito Coast.
“The relationship was obviously very, very different then because Harrison was already an enormous movie star and I was a theatre actress out of London and nobody had heard of me,” Mirren recently told The Times.
“Now our relationship is very different because I’ve sort of caught up with him. Well, I’ll never catch up with him completely but I’m a little bit closer than I was.”
