Rebel Wilson is loving being a momma! The Bridesmaids actress just shared her baby daughter’s face for the first time in an Instagram video and her fans are a puddle of mush. Wilson (43) and her fiancé Ramona Agruma welcomed Royce Lillian in early November after she was born via surrogate.

Rebel Wilson Shares First Social Media Photo Showing Her Daughter’s Whole Face
At 5 months old, little Royce just made her official uncensored appearance on her famous momma’s social media. Wilson has always made the extra effort to insert well-placed emojis to protect her daughter’s identity. But at some point, a parent usually caves. How can you keep such precious beauty to yourself forever?
The video was taken by a drone as the Andrew Sisters’ song “Rum and Coca Cola” played in the background. Wilson is holding Royce in a baby carrier on her chest, waving to the camera and blowing a kiss as it flies away. She’s beaming from ear to ear and standing in front of a tipi-seque beach shelter as baby Royce is looking around.
The shot reveals a peninsula somewhere in the Caribbean, surrounded by a gorgeous coastline and turquoise waters. On the right side of the frame is Ramona Agruma, looking over at her beautiful family.
“Rebels of the Caribbean!” Wilson wrote, adding emojis for a pirate flag, the sun, and the ocean. “Thanks to the Reubens for this epic adventure!”
Rebel Wilson’s Weight Loss Goal Was to Eventually Conceive a Child
Wilson was referring to her friend Lisa Reuben, who has been spotted hanging out with the Australian actress over the years. The two were photographed together two years ago wearing Little Black Dresses, as the world noted the remarkable body transformation of Rebel Wilson. She shot to fame because of her talent, voice, and humor, but also was known for having a trademark “overweight” stage presence. Her character in Pitch Perfect was in fact named “Fat Amy.”
It was actually Rebel Wilson’s desire to become a mother that led to her lifestyle changes. At the age of 41, Wilson revealed that her doctor had recommended she lose some weight if she wanted to conceive a child.
“When I was going through and looking into fertility stuff, the doctor was like, “Well, you’d have a much better chance if you were healthier… I was actually a bit offended. I thought that even though I was bigger, I was pretty healthy. So that’s what started it — that if I lost some excess weight, it would give me a better chance of freezing eggs and having better quality eggs,” Wilson revealed on Instagram (via Daily Mail). “At first it wasn’t even for myself, it was thinking of a future mini-me and their quality. That’s what kick-started it.”
Rebel Wilson took her doctor’s advice to heart and lost 65 pounds. The body transformation led to people treating her completely differently — a reality that she thought was a bit confounding considering that “there’s so much going on in the world.” But then she was told that she was unable to conceive.
“I got some bad news today and didn’t have anyone to share it with … but I guess I gotta tell someone. To all the women out there struggling with fertility, I feel ya,” the actress shared online. “The universe works in mysterious ways and sometimes it all doesn’t make sense … but I hope there’s light about to shine through all the dark clouds.”
Wilson Fell In Love With Ramona Agruma and Came Out Last Year
Indeed, Rebel Wilson’s faith in a light at the end of it all came to bear fruit. She came out as a lesbian last June with her partner, Ramona Agruma. While Agruma had made appearances on Wilson’s social media before, she’d never been named. Agruma is a fashion designer and has an apparel line called The R&R Club. She also serves as the founder and creative director of Delys Joaillerie. Wilson and Agruma are gorgeously in love with each other; this has been documented in every spotting of the pair.
“I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince… but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess,” Wilson wrote beside an Instagram photo in June. She added heart and rainbow emojis with the hashtag #loveislove.”
Wilson and Agruma Welcomed Daughter Royce Lillian Via Surrogate in November
Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma welcomed baby Royce Lillian less than five months after they went Instagram official. Wilson shared a photo of Royce, who was conveniently covering her own face with her arm. It was almost like she knew that she’d be a hot topic straight out of the womb!
“Beyond proud to announce the birth of my first child, Royce Lillian, born this past week via surrogate. I can’t even describe the love I have for her, she’s a beautiful miracle!” Wilson wrote. “I am forever grateful to everyone who has been involved, (you know who you are), this has been years in the making.”
Wilson openly thanked the surrogate mother for carrying and birthing Royce “with such grace and care,” and for helping her receive “the best gift” she’d ever known.
“I am ready to give little Roycie all the love imaginable,” Wilson continued. “I am learning quickly…much respect to all the Mums out there! Proud to be in your club.”
Lucky Roycie has not one, but two adoring mommas. Since she joined the Rebel Wilson club, the brood has celebrated all their precious moments in proper family fashion. They shared their first Christmas together just after Rebel and Royce were photographed on a snowy airstrip. Neither photo showed Royce’s face, however. While it’s easy to imagine a baby snuggling themselves deeply into a breast or a blanket, the airstrip photo had a carefully placed Santa Claus emoji for extra privacy.
Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma Became Engaged in February
A few months later, Wilson had some more good news! She and Agruma became engaged, and in the cutest way! They’d obviously discussed the moment ahead of time, per Wilson’s Instagram stories (more details on that here).
Both bent their knee in Disneyland while wearing matching pink and white sweaters. Wilson presented Agruma with the diamond ring as they kissed and laughed. Bouquets of pink and white roses with touches of gold flanked the happy couple and fell from the sky as they posed in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. In every way, it was the quintessential princess dream. Could it get any more perfect for a family of proud ladies?
“We said YES!” Wilson wrote beside the photos, adding two pink heart emojis. “Thank you @tiffanyandco for the stunning ring and to Bob Iger and the incredible team at Disneyland @disneyweddings for pulling off this magical surprise!”
The “Rebel” Family Has Been Soaking Up the Sun All Week
Wilson, her fiancé Agruma, and their beautiful miracle daughter Royce have been sharing vacation photos from the Caribbean for the entire past week. Wilson shared a photo of her holding Roycie a week ago, calling it her “first ever swim in the ocean.” Roycie was wearing a white sun hat and hot pink onesie, matching her momma’s outfit. You could see Roycie smiling back at her mom, who appeared to be on Cloud 9. But her eyes and most of her face were still hidden.
A few days later, Wilson shared an underwater snorkeling photo and tagged her friend Lisa Reuben. “Swimming with the turtles with @lisareubs,” she wrote. That same day, she shared a snap of her and her love sitting on a boat and looking gorgeous. There were no words except for a pirate flag emoji. On Agruma’s left hand, you could see her ring.
