Recently single A-list actress Reese Witherspoon, 47, was spotted reuniting with her first husband, Ryan Phillippe, 48, at their son Deacon’s album release party. Deacon Phillippe’s debut album, A New Earth, is available to stream now.

Witherspoon, who went through a divorce this year from Jim Toth after 12 years of marriage, appeared in a series of photos that were posted to Phillippe’s Instagram account. The post featured a photo that showcased Witherspoon posing with Deacon, 19, and her daughter, Ava Elizabeth Phillippe, 23.
It appears that Ryan Phillippe did spend time with Witherspoon at the event. Phillippe captioned his post, “Awesome night w family & friends celebrating the release of, ‘A New Earth’ by @deaconphillippe !! Thank you so much to everyone who attended and to our sponsors… Stream, download, and listen to the album😊.” Witherspoon also expressed support of her son’s music career, sharing a screenshot of Deacon’s song being featured on Spotify’s “New Pop Picks,” accompanied by the text, “Let’s goooo @deaconphillippe.”
Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe Friendly Since Divorce
This is not the first time since Witherspoon’s divorce from Toth that she and Phillippe were spotted being friendly with each other. A recent photo depicts Deacon in between Witherspoon and Phillippe at a birthday celebration. Witherspoon and Phillippe were married from 1999 to 2007 and shared joint custody of their children. Witherspoon has previously stated that she and Phillippe have worked hard to have a “healthy” family life after their divorce.
On March 24, Witherspoon officially announced her divorce from Toth in an Instagram post, writing, “We have some personal news to share. It is with a great deal of care and consideration that we have made the difficult decision to divorce. We have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and are moving forward with deep love, kindness, and mutual respect for everything we have created together. These matters are never easy and are extremely personal. We truly appreciate everyone’s respect for our family’s privacy at this time.” Witherspoon and Toth share a 10-year-old son, Tennessee James Toth.
