If you liked the first round of 1923, you may be even more excited for the next. After all, according to the trailer for the second half of the Yellowstone prequel starring Harrison Ford, there will be plenty of action.
The show is available on Paramount+ and is already eight episodes in. It relaunches on Feb. 5, then runs every Sunday after that, to conclude its one-season run.
And the trailer for the second half of that lone season is filled with what appears to be even more action, seemingly more violence and at least an equal amount of drama.
1923 Mid-Season Trailer
The season, of course, is giving Yellowstone fans an in-depth look at the beginnings of the Dutton ranch and follows the prequel 1883, starring Tim McGraw, Faith Hill and Sam Elliott (with pit-stops from Tom Hanks and Billy Bob Thornton).
All of the shows are written by Taylor Sheridan, who began as an actor and became the world’s most proficient creator of some of today’s most highly praised shows and movies.
By the looks of things, there will be plenty more where that came from with the next installment of 1923. There still isn’t a reason for the hiatus, but Sheridan did drop several hints about what is next for the show.
In the mid-season trailer that was posted on the show’s official Instagram, there were several clues about several storylines, such as the Dutton patriarch waging war with Banner Creighton’s sheepherders while recovering from a gruesome gunshot wound. Viewers are also expected to catch up with Jacob’s nephew, Spencer Denon, as he travels from Africa to Montana alongside his love interest, Alexandra.
Keeping things interesting, the show captured the post, “The story is far from over. #1923TV returns with all new episodes on February 5, only on #ParamountPlus.”
Season 1 episode schedule:
- Episode 5: February 5
- Episode 6: February 12
- Episode 7: January 19
- Episode 8: February 26
