Anti-Trump rallies pop up in New York City and Arizona while one politician welcomes him with open arms

In Arizona and New York City Saturday, Donald Trump protesters are taking to the streets.

Protesters in Fountain Hills, Arizona, blocked traffic on a road near a planned Trump event. The stranded drivers got out of their cars and clashed with protesters. At one point, an ABC15 helicopter captured a Jeep driving into a crowd of protesters, but no one was injured.

Security is tight for Saturday afternoon’s Trump event in Arizona.

In New York City, a large and vocal crowd gathered at a rally and marched in protest of Trump.

Meanwhile, former Arizona governor Jan Brewer welcomed Donald Trump to the state.
