A Youtube uploader caught lightning in a bottle (okay, on a camera) and happened to be filming at the exact moment a bolt of lightning came down and struck a single car on a Moroccan street.
We don’t know what the driver did, but they certainly seemed to have angered someone.
The driver takes the strike like a pro, even though the blast of lightning (and its 30,000 amperes/500 megajoules) seems to blast the car off the ground at first. The driver manages to guide the car to a stop and put on its hazard lights as curious onlookers pour out of the shops and cafes on the street. Hell, we’d look, too.
The driver walks away from the incident, though it’s unclear whether the car was driveable afterwards.
