So that’s what he did to the Tennessee Whiskey’s merchandise in protest over its past partnership with drag queens.

Pauly Michaelis posted a video of himself torching a Jack Daniel’s mirror, wooden bar sign and glasses with the company logo. It has since gone viral, garnering both applause and anger.

“For those of you who know me well my drink has always been Jack Daniels,” Michaelis wrote. “For over 150 years since 1866 this drink was always associated with cowboys, warriors, bikers, savage rock bands and all-American badass people.”

Not anymore, he claimed.

“THEY WENT WOKE,” Michaelis wrote, with by a middle-finger emoji.

Back in 2021, Jack Daniel’s used drag queens from “Ru Paul’s Drag Race” as a marketing tool. It has resurfaced thanks in large part to Bud Light partnering with transgender spokesperson Dylan Mulvaney.

“I have been for 40 years of my life, if not longer. Here’s the deal: You went woke,” he says. “So, here’s what I got for you guys.”

It seems the majority of those who commented on Michaelis’ vide supported his actions.

. “Thank God someone is standing up & speaking out!!” read one comment. “This WOKE S**T us destroying our Country.”

  1. It is only the beginning. The displeasure will grow. Go woke, go broke is not a catchphrase, it is a statement of fact. Ask Budweiser how it’s working out for them.
