The 48-second teaser clip, exclusive to People, features the Your Place or Mine actors talking about their ideal rom-com costar.

“Cary Grant. Tom Hanks. You know what I’m saying?” Reese Witherspoon said. “Who would you want to make a romantic-comedy with? Anybody.”

“Reese Witherspoon,” Ashton Kutcher replies.

Witherspoon then says: “Ashton, that is so sweet! That is literally the nicest thing you’ve ever said to me.”

Aline Brosh McKenna (The Devil Wears Prada, We Bought a Zoo) wrote and produced Your Place or Mine, which also marks her directorial debut. Billed third is Jesse Williams, who played Dr. Jackson Avery on Grey’s Anatomy from 2009 to 2022.

Rounding out the cast are Grammy and Emmy Award-winning comic Tig Notaro (One Mississippi, Star Trek); Emmy Award-winning comedic actor Steve Zahn (The White Lotus); and actor Zoë Chao (Strangers, The Afterparty).

The rom-com revolves around Reese Witherspoon’s and Ashton Kutcher’s characters, who are best friends — but total opposites too — according to People. The show follows them as they switch and live in each other’s house for a week.

Reese Witherspoon’s character relocates to Los Angeles with her son, while Ashton Kutcher’s character moves to New York City.

Curious viewers can get a taste from the show and hear from its cast on Saturday. Netflix will air a segment containing clips, interviews, and trailers on YouTube right here.

Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher Keeping Busy

Meanwhile, Reese Witherspoon said she will make sure a new Legally Blonde movie lives up to its two predecessors — if and when it actually happens.

She is also busy shooting Season 3 of The Morning Show. Reese Witherspoon and Billy Crudup were each up for an Emmy Award, but neither took home a prize at the September 12 ceremony.

As for Ashton Kutcher, he appeared last month on Running Wild With Bear Grylls: The Challenge. In the reality-TV survival show, Kutcher talked for the first time about his battle with vasculitis, the rare autoimmune disorder.
