A concert-goer at Coachella caught a disturbing incident on camera this past Saturday. The video featured an acrobat losing her grip when she performed tricks while hanging from a curtain. The performer smashed onto the ground, falling 20 feet and landing between two speakers.

In the video, the acrobat appeared to be unconscious on the ground before bystanders came to help. She was soon removed from the scene by paramedics. It is not clear what state the woman is currently in, but it was reported that paramedics witnessed her blink.
Frightening Accident at Coachella
It is not clear exactly why the unnamed performer fell. It is assumed that the woman either hurt herself while performing, or she just lost her grip on the curtain. The acrobat was only performing for 5 minutes when the accident occurred.
In the 27-second video, viewers can see another performer doing tricks with flames while the acrobat performs above them. Luckily, the woman did not encounter the other performer when she fell. When the woman falls, screams can be heard from the audience. At the end of the video, the performer is seen in a critical state, being carried off on a stretcher.
This is not the first time a performer was injured in a similar way at Coachella. An unnamed rigger died back in 2019 at the festival when he fell from a roof while setting up a stage. Coachella officials spoke out about the unnamed man’s death, saying, “He has been with our team for 20 years in the desert and was doing what he loved. He was a hard-working and loving person that cared deeply about his team. As our lead rigger, he was responsible for the countless incredible shows that have been put on at the festival.” Back in 2014, a 24-year-old woman collapsed and died after a drug overdose at the Californian music festival.
