Legendary singer Celine Dion has released an official lyric video for her new song, which shares the same name as Love Again, a new film in which Dion is making her acting debut. Dion will portray herself in the upcoming film that stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Sam Heughan. Dion has written five original songs for Love Again‘s soundtrack in total.

The lyrics of the song, which appears to be Love Again‘s theme song, contain some heavy yet inspirational poetry. Some of the lyrics read, “You don’t have to move a mountain just keep moving/ Every move is a new emotion/ You don’t have to find the answers just keep trying. The sun will rise again/ The storms subside again/ This is not the end/ And you will love again.”

Dion released a statement regarding her experience making the film, saying, “I had a lot of fun doing this movie. And to have the privilege of appearing with the beautiful and talented actors Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Sam Heughan in my very first feature film is a gift that I will cherish forever. I think it’s a wonderful feel-good story, and I hope that people will like it, and like the new songs too.”
Dion’s soundtrack, which contains a total of 14 songs, including some of her classics, is available to pre-order now. The official soundtrack will be available to purchase on May 5. The “My Heart Will Go On” singer hasn’t released a new album since 2019’s Courage, so die-hard Dion fans should be nothing short of delighted. Dion has been dealing with her recent diagnosis of Stiff Person Syndrome, but she still seems to be still living her life with joy.
Love Again, which is written for the screen and directed by Jim Strouse, will hit theaters on May 5, just in time for Mother’s Day. Nick Jonas, the husband of the film’s star, will also make a cameo in the film. The official synopsis for Love Again reads, “What if a random text message led to the love of your life? In this romantic comedy, dealing with the loss of her fiancé, Mira Ray sends a series of romantic texts to his old cell phone number… not realizing the number was reassigned to Rob Burns’ new work phone. A journalist, Rob is captivated by the honesty in the beautifully confessional texts. When he’s assigned to write a profile of megastar Celine Dion (playing herself in her first film role), he enlists her help in figuring out how to meet Mira in person…and win her heart.”
