The actor chatted with Drew Barrymore on her talk show and shared the details about meeting his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, at church during a point in his life where he was “struggling and felt really broken.”

A Love Story
Pratt was “sneaking glances” at her while she was sitting front row at church. “You kind of don’t want to be like, ‘Whoa, who is that?’ at church, you know what I mean,” he shared. “But I was kind of sneaking some glances and I was like, ‘Who is that? Any way, what am I doing? Come on, I’m broken, help me.'”
“God has a fast-forward button,” he added. “When it’s right, boom. You fall in love, you get married. Now we have two beautiful daughters to add to my family.”
“My own journey, finding a higher power and leaning on that and being like, ‘please save me,’ and then feeling saved. And then shortly later finding the woman of my dreams. [You just need] faith.”
He shared that he and Schwarzenegger fit together like puzzle pieces. He called Maria Shriver, his mother-in-law, “Matchmaker Maria.” He jokingly offered her services to Barrymore.
“Well, I’ve been single for seven years, maybe I should try something,” Barrymore replied. “[I’m ready for] something fun and easy.”
Family Ties
On The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Pratt talked about being a part of the Schwarzenegger family. “I mean there’s nothing manlier than Arnold Schwarzenegger smoking a cigar. And when you’re bringing his granddaughter into the world, he comes and brings you a cigar and he’s like, ‘Let’s go out and smoke these.'”
Pratt, who has asthma, talked about waking up “the next day” with a “massive lung infection.”
“There’s peer pressure, and then there’s Arnold Schwarzenegger peer pressure,” he quipped.
