Diane Keaton Mistook Reese Witherspoon’s Son For Another Superstar Actor

Diane Keaton mistook Reese Witherspoon’s son, Deacon Phillippe, for superstar actor Leonardo DiCaprio. During an interview on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Ellen showed Keaton photos of hunky men. “You’re such a connoisseur of men,” Ellen said.

Ellen showed a clip of Keaton admiring Robert Pattinson and a photo of Clint Eastwood.

“I’m sorry, but he’s so beautiful,” Keaton said about Pattinson.

Then Ellen showed Keaton a photo of 18-yr-old Deacon, son of Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe. Ellen and Keaton were talking about male beauty. Keaton was making comedic commentary over each man’s attractive looks.

“Talk about beauty. Leonardo DiCaprio, give me a break. I knew him when he was a kid,” Keaton quipped, unaware that she mistook him for the wrong guy.

Celebrities including Witherspoon herself started commenting about Keaton’s gaffe on social media. “The first one is my son!” Witherspoon added. A lot of heart-eyed and laughing-crying emojis ensued.

Keaton played the mistake off well, though. She’s a legendary bombshell and she’s had her share of trips around the sun at the age of 76. Did you see the photos of Keaton in her thigh-high snake skin boots last year? Talk about keeping it sexy.

This was also Ellen and Keaton’s 20th conversation on the Ellen Show.

“Oh, I made that mistake, whoops, but look at him. That’s gorgeous. How old is he now?”

Keaton DGAF and she loves her men, and these are just some reasons why we love her.

And who can blame her for the gaffe—Deacon actually does have a striking resemblance to young Leo.
