Tom Brady, Wife Gisele Bündchen Apparently Headed for Divorce

While Tom Brady continues to quarterback the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the age of 45, another of his achievements is apparently about to come to an end.

As relayed by People, Gisele Bündchen has hired a divorce lawyer after months of “tension” in her marriage to Brady.

Part of that tension apparently revolves around Brady’s decision to return to play football for another season. This after initially announcing his retirement in the spring.

“(Bündchen) was so happy when he announced his retirement, and she wasn’t thrilled at all when he went back on that,” a source told People.

Meanwhile, Brady reportedly is trying to save the marriage, which began when he and Bündchen tied the knot in February 2009. But it may be tougher than rallying the New England Patriots from a 28-3 deficit in the Super Bowl. Something Brady did to beat the Atlanta Falcons, 34-28, in 2017.

“They’re hitting a rough patch,” the source told People of Brady and Bündchen. “But I know they’re trying, or at least he’s trying, to figure it out and make it work. He wants to get through this and for things to get better.”

The couple share a on and daughter together, and Brady has another son with ex Bridget Moynahan.

As a perhaps telling aside, Bündchen has not been spotted at any of Brady’s games since the start of the season, with a separate source telling People that she’s been spending time away from the legendary QB.

“I don’t think there will be any coming back now,” a source told Page Six. “They both have lawyers and are looking at what a split will entail, who gets what and what the finances will be.”
