This outlet reported yesterday that NFL Media has decided to remove Cowboys Hall of Fame Wide Receiver Michael Irvin from their Super Bowl coverage on Sunday for a complaint filed by a woman against Irvin.

Despite having no evidence to support her claims of misconduct against Irvin, the NFL wasted no time in reprimanding Irvin. Now he is fighting back.
Irvin announced that he is filing a $100 Million lawsuit against the woman who filed the complaint against him, and the Marriott hotel where this ‘incident’ that led to the accusation happened.
Irvin called this just another instance of ‘cancel culture’. TMZ obtained a copy of the lawsuit. It alleges that hotel officials from the Marriott also made false statements about Irvin’s conduct. Read a portion of that lawsuit below…
“Rash and thoughtless actions can have severe consequences. Marriott [parent company of Renaissance Hotels] apparently did not appreciate these simple truths when, in a rush to judgment, its employees and management inaccurately and inflammatorily accused Mr. Irvin of misconduct to the National Football League,” the lawsuit reads.

Irvin’s attorney told TMZ this about the lawsuit…
“It is clear Michael is the latest victim of our cancel culture where all it takes is an accusation to ruin a person’s life. Michael looks forward to clearing his name in court and hopes the Court of public opinion will see the truth come out as well.”

Michael Irvin is not taking ‘cancel culture’ lying down. He is fighting back in a big way. This response comes just one day after initial reports about NFL Media removing Irvin from their coverage.
As stated in our previous article, police have no records of any report or altercation involving Michael Irvin. There is no current evidence that he did anything wrong.
He has publicly stated that he simply shook this woman’s hand, and said hello, and walked away.
