Kirstie Alley’s Children: Meet William True and Lillie Price Stevenson

Kirstie Alley tragically passed away at the age of 71. Throughout her career, Alley repeatedly stated that the most important thing to her in her life was her children. The Drop Dead Gorgeous actress was a mom to 2, William True Stevenson, 30, who goes by his middle name, and Lilie Stevenson, 28.

Through an Instagram statement on December 5th, the pair confirmed that their mother had passed away after a battle with cancer.

“She was surrounded by her closest family and fought with great strength, leaving us with a certainty of her never-ending joy of living and whatever adventures lie ahead. As iconic as she was on screen, she was an even more amazing mother and grandmother,” they stated.

“Our mother’s zest and passion for life, her children, grandchildren and her many animals, not to mention her eternal joy of creating, were unparalleled and left us inspired to live life to the fullest just as she did,” they added.

William True Stevenson

The actress first became a mother when she adopted her son, William True, back in 1992 with her then-husband Parker Stevenson. The couple was married from 1983 to 1997. They officially got together after a seven-year marriage to Bobby Allen which ended in 1977. The pair retain custody of both children.

 After she got married she went on to talk about her son’s nuptials on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The actress said she felt good about her son and girlfriend getting married because they were truly in love. 

“True’s got a level head,” she said back in 2010. “He’s a good guy. He’s very monogamous and he’s very sweet with her.” In 2016 true welcome to his first child, Wayland trip Parker, with his now wife. Alley  went on to celebrate the news on Twitter saying she was now a “Proud Gammy.”

Alley also spoke about her son becoming a father, speaking with People back in 2017. “It’s heartwarming to see your own child have a child. … I couldn’t have dreamt of anyone being better parents. I always knew my son would be because he loves babies, he’s always loved little kids, they’ve always gotten along really well with him.

“He’s just an excellent dad, really hands-on,” she continued. “Both of them are just amazing.”

Just like True, Alley and Stevenson Went on to adopt her second child, Lily, in 1994. Just like her mother, Lille likes to stay out of the spotlight unlike their mother. But she did appear on several red carpets over the year including in the premiere of Sydney White in 2017. 

It was announced back in 2017 that she was engaged to her boyfriend Chaffee Burkhart Graham. “Yesterday the love of my life asked me to marry him,” she wrote alongside a picture of them kissing while showing off her engagement ring. “There is no one in the world I would rather spend everyday with. You are my favorite and I cannot wait to call you my husband!”

In 2021 she welcomed her first child Ripp Woodrow Graham. The mom shared the news on Instagram showing a picture of herself holding the newborn with her husband. “Thank you for making me a mother,”  she wrote. Alley also celebrated the news on Twitter, sharing a photo of the baby. 

“Look at my new grandson! So damn cute!” Alley tweeted. “Look at the mischief in his eyes.”
