Corrina Grant delivered a “show-stopping moment” for her mom during Vince Gill’s performance at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.

Late last month, Amy Grant had a bicycle accident in Nashville that sent her to the hospital. While the media reported that she seemed to be OK, she is still recovering almost two weeks later.

On Saturday, Amy Grant’s team posted the following message on her Facebook page:

“Last night Vince performed his second concert of a four night residency at the Ryman. He informed the crowd that Amy was getting better every day after a bike crash last week that left her unconscious for about 10 minutes and with a concussion (along with various cuts and bruises). He then introduced their daughter Corrina who performed a song in honor of her mom….Show stopper moment.”

Amy Grant’s Bicycle Accident

Per People, Grant was bicycling with a friend and suffered cuts and abrasions after falling to the pavement. She went to Vanderbilt Hospital, where she stayed overnight for precautionary reasons. Grant, 61, was reportedly wearing a helmet at the time of the accident

Reports stated her condition as stable.

“The incident comes two years after the star, who is married to singer Vince Gill, underwent open-heart surgery to correct a rare condition with which she was born, but only discovered at a check-up,” People relayed.

Grant’s exact condition is something called partial anomalous pulmonary venous return. She confirmed in June 2020 that she underwent surgery to have the condition corrected.

“I think women tend to put their health on the back burner,” she told Good Morning America last year. “It’s more like, ‘Oh my children, my grandchildren, my work, my spouse;’ All of those things and we need the gift of each other. So even if you go, ‘Oh, I got nothing on the radar,’ just get somebody else to check it out.”
