One way to get the world’s attention is to wear lingerie and post pictures on the Internet. And former Baywatch star Donna D’Errico says she could use some attention.

D’Errico, 54, shared a photo of herself in lingerie after admitting that she is feeling lonely. Not surprisingly, her fans — or at least a lot of guys — offered to come to her rescue.
“Alexa, play ‘Girl on Fire’ by Alicia Keys,” she captioned the pic of her in lingerie as she stared off into space.
This followed a throwback Instagram post in which she admitted she seems to be looking for love in all the wrong places. Or more accurately, in Los Angeles.

“LA is a very lonely city filled with beautiful lonely temporary people and I’m a human being just like everyone else,” she captioned the black-and-white photo. “I want to love and to be loved. And sometimes the company of a beautiful man can feel like a sort of love, can’t it?”
There’s more.
“For a fleeting moment I absorb it,” she wrote. “I live in a state of abundance when it comes to men, so I’m never without a date if I don’t want to be. But I mostly prefer to be alone. It’s a heart numbing thing when so many men desire you but none love you. I realize that deliberate use of sex appeal makes it difficult for people to appreciate other things about you. I make my peace with it.”
In other words, she’s lonely but says she prefers to be alone. That might make loneliness a difficult thing to fix.
As for the lingerie and bikini pics, D’Errico has no plans to slow down. She recently even stood up for herself after receiving complaints about wearing such revealing attire at her age. But clearly, she doesn’t care — because she posted another bikini shot, seemingly almost out of spite.
“Quite a few women complained about the 4th of July video I posted in a red white & blue bikini because they thought I was ‘classier than that’ and ‘too old to wear a bikini’ and, my favorite, ‘desperate,’” she wrote in a caption over the summer. “Let me tell you something that might surprise you. I can actually wear and do literally whatever I want.”
That she can do, and if it helps her to feel less lonely, hey, good for her.
