No, not the actor who portrayed George on Seinfeld. Though this particular Jason Alexander pulled off a stunt that would have done Costanza proud. Truth be told, crashing her wedding was not found favorably by Britney Spears.
This Jason Alexander was actually once married to Britney for a brief moment in time; though he didn’t really make a name for himself until recently. Yes, this Alexander has been convicted of aggravated trespassing and battery at Spears’ wedding in June.
Alexander, 40, has pleaded no contest to two misdemeanor counts in a Ventura County, California court, prosecutors said. He was then sentenced to 64 days in court, though he has already served them. Charges of felony stalking and misdemeanor vandalism were dropped by prosecutors.
Alexander was married to Spears for less than three days in 2004. He for sure wasn’t invited to her June 9 ceremony with current husband Sam Asghari. Much less welcomed to her home in Thousand Oaks, California. But he showed up anyway. Actual invited guests includes the likes of Selena Gomez, Drew Barrymore, Paris Hilton and Madonna.
Alexander allegedly broke into Spears’ home that day, locking himself in her bedroom while she was inside getting ready for the wedding. He refused to leave by force, instead battering a security guard and damaging a door, per prosecutors.
“He was able to find his way onto the property and was confronted by security,” a police spokesman said. “An altercation occurred with the security officers and that’s where the battery occurred… and during the altercation an item was broken, so that’s where the vandalism comes into play.”
Okay, so what happened to him…
The judge ordered Alexander to stay at least 100 yards from both Spears and the security guard moving forward.
His attorney said in court that he had no intention of harming Spears, which may have helped his cause.
Of course, Alexander wasn’t the only person not invited to the wedding who was once close to Spears. Her father, mother and sister were also not in attendance.
